As Kraken Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing new commercial capability within the Kraken platform to support TalkTalk’s customer propositions and commercial outcomes. Building, maintaining, and enhancing the Kraken product catalogue, pricing structures, offers, and billing logic, you will drive accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
You will be the expert for Kraken product and billing configuration, providing leadership in tooling, product build, and operational execution (including the annual price rise), playing a key role in enabling commercial agility and improving customer and operational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Product & Catalogue Creation
- Build new tariffs, rates, promotions, offers, and product variants within the Kraken product catalogue.
- Develop new tools and capabilities within Kraken to enhance agility, performance, and commercial effectiveness.
- Manage end-to-end creation, testing, and deployment of catalogue changes.
- Pricing & Billing Excellence
- Ensure high-quality product and billing setup to minimise manual interactions and reduce errors.
- Continuously improve billing performance, presentation, and accuracy in partnership with the billing team.
- Lead Kraken delivery of the annual price rise, ensuring seamless execution.
- Commercial Enablement
- Act as the POD Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all billing and product catalogue enquiries.
- Champion Kraken tooling across squads to improve connection, retention, and billing behaviours.
- Support digital sales and support teams by ensuring new products, prices, and billing logic are correctly deployed.
- Be a key quarterly planning stakeholder influencing and advising on promotional activity and supporting capability build and enablement.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate catalogue and billing processes.
- Use data-led insights to drive decisions, prioritisation, and enhancements.
- Cover & Support
- Understand the responsibilities of the Nurture & Grow function and provide cover or support where required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the telecoms sector, including product catalogues, pricing structures, and promotional tools.
- Strong familiarity with TalkTalk’s existing product set and commercial frameworks.
- Knowledge of product management methodologies, agile delivery, and the end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Skills
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence across teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-led decision-making approach.
- Clear and effective communicator capable of simplifying complex logic.
- Proven project delivery capability across multiple priorities.
- Experience

- Experience working with third-party partner relationships.
- Relationships with TV/security partners beneficial but not required.
