Role: They are seeking an extremely driven, passionate and motivated individual to join their in-house development family. As a member of their team, your role will be to ensure the quality of all applications through manual testing as part of their ongoing software development lifecycle.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Testing the functionality, new features, bugs fixes and changes to their frontend website on various web browsers (desktops, mobiles and tablets).
- Testing the functionality, new features, bugs fixes and changes to their Backend Loan Management System (LMS) on various web browsers.
- Testing lead submission API.
- Testing automation jobs.
- Triaging and addressing issues and queries from agents/senior management (in their development mailbox).
- Checking for spelling, grammar or content issues on their frontend website and outbound communications.
- Keeping on top of errors to highlight problems on the live environment and all related infrastructure.
- Review customers interaction with their frontend website to identify or confirm issues.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure tickets meet scoping requirements.
- Ensuring ticket releases are performed in a timely, predictable way and to communicate if there are any issues blocking release.
- Attending team ceremonies (daily standup, planning, work item refinement) with stakeholders and peers.
- Other development department related ad-hoc tasks that may arise from time to time.
Desirable:
- Basic HTML/CSS.
- Experience in any Object-Oriented programming language, preferably C#.
- Browser automation (preferably Selenium).
- BDD Framework preferably SpecFlow.
- Javascript.
- Agile methodologies/Scrum.
- Computer Science related degree or experience.
