This company is a Workflow & AI Orchestration Specialist. They are on a mission to modernise how public sector organisations manage casework, derive insight from data and deliver citizen services. They are growing fast and are looking for bright, dynamic people to help build their business.
They are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer / Software Tester to take ownership of their test automation strategy. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working autonomously, designing and maintaining automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with developers working on React front ends and Spring Boot APIs. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of their applications across the full stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks from scratch
- Create and execute automated tests for React-based front-end applications & Spring Boot REST APIs
- Develop and maintain test suites for regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
- Continuously improve test coverage and testing processes
- Ensure tests are stable, maintainable, and well-documented
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or Automation Test Engineer
- Strong experience testing React front-end applications
- Strong experience testing Spring Boot APIs
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks autonomously
- Experience with common automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST-assured, etc.)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
