Location: Onsite at our Preston, WA location 5 days a week
Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $29.00 (depending on experience)
Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Inventory and Plant Production teams to validate sufficient materials to meet production demand.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts of Finished Good, WIP, and Raw Material inventory, reviewing variances and researching for root-cause.
- Spot-Count specific items on an ad hoc basis.
- Process assigned NCRs (Non-Conformance) tasks on a daily and weekly basis.
- Operate forklift equipment safely.
- Support warehouse teammates as needed (shipping, receiving, and production line).
- Leverage system data and KPI’s to analyze trends or risks. Utilize that information to prioritise counts, research, and communication across various business groups.
- Work with warehouse receiving and QA to ensure all ingredients and raw materials comply with QA receiving policies and standards.
- Drive raw material organisation and FIFO policies.
- Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed always, notifying immediate manager of any food safety and/or quality issues.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years of inventory control and cycle count experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to accommodate overtime, occasionally working other shifts and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, as well as to push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.
Please note, this role is safety sensitive. This means that as part of your core responsibilities you will be regularly responsible for your own safety and/or the safety of others (e.g., driving on behalf of the company, working in a warehouse/plant environment).
