Talkdesk is seeking a strategic, commercially minded Director of EMEA Regional Marketing to lead regional marketing strategy, execution, and business impact across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This leader will serve as a key strategic partner to EMEA sales leadership, translating regional business priorities, market opportunities, and customer insights into integrated marketing strategies that build awareness, create demand, deepen account engagement, and accelerate pipeline.

As part of the global Growth Marketing organization, the Director will connect global marketing strategy with regional market needs, orchestrating campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), digital, partner, customer, and experiential programs to deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, brings a strong understanding of enterprise B2B marketing, and thrives in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

This individual will be equally comfortable advising regional sales leadership, developing market-specific growth plans, and leading teams to deliver high-impact marketing programs. Success in this role will be measured not by the volume of marketing activities delivered, but by their contribution to regional growth, account engagement, pipeline development, and revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Strategy & Business Alignment: Own the development and execution of an integrated EMEA regional marketing strategy aligned to global marketing priorities, regional business objectives, and revenue goals. Serve as a strategic marketing partner to EMEA sales leadership, developing a deep understanding of regional priorities, market dynamics, customer segments, and growth opportunities. Translate business objectives into actionable regional marketing plans that support market development, demand creation, pipeline generation, and deal acceleration. Identify and prioritize marketing investments across EMEA markets based on business potential, account opportunity, sales capacity, and expected impact. Bring regional market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive perspectives into global marketing planning and investment decisions.
  • Integrated Demand Generation & Account Engagement: Lead the regional activation of integrated marketing programs across digital, ABM, content, partner, customer, and experiential channels. Partner with global Campaigns, ABM, Digital, and Marketing Operations teams to translate global programs into relevant, high-impact regional initiatives. Develop targeted engagement strategies for priority industries, strategic accounts, and high-value opportunities in partnership with sales and account teams. Drive marketing programs across the customer journey, from awareness and demand creation to opportunity progression, pipeline acceleration, and customer expansion. Ensure regional marketing activities deliver coordinated, meaningful engagement with buying groups and key decision-makers. Evaluate and deploy the most effective mix of marketing channels, programs, and experiences to achieve defined business outcomes. Establish strong, trusted relationships with regional sales leaders, account executives, business development teams, and other go-to-market stakeholders. Lead collaborative planning with sales to establish shared priorities, target accounts, engagement strategies, and measurable success criteria. Partner with global marketing functions, including Campaigns, ABM, Digital, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Marketing Operations, to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of regional investments. Collaborate with partner and alliance marketing stakeholders to integrate ecosystem opportunities into regional growth plans, including co-marketing and joint demand-generation initiatives. Facilitate clear communication, accountability, and coordination across regional and global teams to deliver a cohesive go-to-market experience.
  • Performance, Investment & Optimization: Own regional marketing planning, budget management, investment prioritization, and performance optimization. Establish clear KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to regional business objectives, including account engagement, pipeline creation, pipeline influence, opportunity progression, and marketing ROI. Leverage CRM, marketing automation, intent, engagement, and performance data to identify opportunities, optimize investments, and improve program effectiveness. Provide regular, actionable insights to regional sales and global marketing leadership, connecting marketing performance to business outcomes. Continuously evaluate marketing investments, reallocating resources toward the programs, channels, and markets delivering the greatest impact.
  • Team Leadership & Operational Excellence: Lead, coach, and develop regional marketing talent, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Establish clear roles, priorities, operating rhythms, and performance expectations for the regional marketing team. Build scalable, repeatable processes that improve marketing effectiveness while allowing for necessary regional and market-level flexibility. Champion a business-first, outcome-oriented marketing mindset that prioritizes strategic impact over activity volume. Navigate a matrixed global organization effectively, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment without relying solely on direct reporting relationships.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience & Skills: 8–10+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including significant experience in regional marketing, integrated demand generation, account-based marketing, or related growth marketing disciplines. Demonstrated success developing and executing regional marketing strategies that contribute to pipeline creation, opportunity acceleration, and revenue growth. Strong understanding of enterprise B2B go-to-market models, complex buying journeys, and multi-stakeholder account engagement. Experience partnering directly with senior sales leadership to develop joint business plans, align priorities, and drive measurable outcomes. Proven ability to orchestrate integrated marketing programs across multiple channels and global marketing functions. Experience working across EMEA markets, with an appreciation for regional differences, customer behaviours, market maturity, and local go-to-market requirements. Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate marketing and sales data into actionable investment decisions. Experience managing marketing budgets, prioritising resources, and demonstrating return on marketing investment. Demonstrated leadership experience, including developing talent, managing teams, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, ABM, and marketing performance technologies.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud technology, customer experience, or contact centre technology. Experience supporting multiple EMEA subregions and coordinating marketing efforts across diverse markets. Familiarity with partner-led and ecosystem-based go-to-market strategies. Experience operating within a centralized global marketing organization and matrixed regional sales structure. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Willingness to travel within EMEA and internationally as business needs require.

What Success Looks Like: The Director, EMEA Regional Marketing will establish marketing as a proactive, strategic growth partner to the regional business. Success will be demonstrated through:

  • Strategic alignment: Clear, prioritized regional marketing plans jointly developed with sales and connected to global growth priorities.
  • Meaningful account engagement: Increased reach, engagement, and buying-group penetration across strategic accounts and priority market segments.
  • Pipeline contribution: Measurable marketing impact on pipeline creation, opportunity progression, and revenue outcomes.
  • Integrated execution: Effective activation of global marketing programs through coordinated regional, account, digital, partner, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Investment effectiveness: Data-driven allocation of resources toward high-impact programs and measurable business returns.
  • Organizational leadership: A high-performing regional marketing team recognized for commercial acumen, proactive collaboration, and accountability.

This role is an opportunity to shape how regional marketing contributes to enterprise growth—moving beyond tactical execution to become a strategic driver of market opportunity, customer engagement, and revenue performance.
