Talk The Talk is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our friendly team. As our charity continues to grow, we need an experienced sales operative to sell our oracy workshops into schools and other educational organisations.
You should be a capable and competent spoken and written communicator who enjoys liaising with customers by email, phone and Teams/Zoom meetings. You must demonstrate an excellent attention to detail and an ability to learn about our products in order to impart full information in a confident manner to schools.
You will be responsible for your own customer base and sales leads which will include updating contact records, preparing reports, analysing data and building excellent relationships with teachers and schools.
Whilst you will be supported by our hard-working, enthusiastic team, you need to be someone who can organise and prioritise your own workload and work independently to get results. Our charity's business relies on securing workshop sales, so this is a key role within the team.
You should be proficient in MS programmes including Excel and in Google Docs/Sheets as well as having working experience of CRMs (we use Capsule).
Talk The Talk is based in Herefordshire, HR2 8RQ and although this is a hybrid post, ideally you will be within 30 miles of this location as up to three days/week could be spent in the office base there.
In return we offer an annual salary of £25,000, a company pension, hybrid/flexible working, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our ambitious organisation.
Please include a covering letter with your CV explaining why the job appeals to you and why you are a good candidate for the role. Please note, we cannot accept applications without a covering letter.
