The predicted salary is between 39000 - 46000 £ per year.

Responsible for acting as a Project Lead on a selection of projects, including responsibility for financial control, resourcing management, internal project coordination, administration and client liaison.

Responsible for acting as a Leader of the Mechanical section of the project team, including responsibility for the design, design quality, performance, work processes and resourcing management of the Project Team. Responsible for managing a selection of client accounts and carrying out business development activities for the business.

Responsible for assisting the Project Director in advising on the resourcing and performance of the group, setting mid-term goals, organising weekly team meetings and seeking ways of improving the efficiency and productivity of the team.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

  • Be fully conversant with current building regulations, CIBSE documentation, British standards, BISREA documentation and all other general design guides associated with the building services industry
  • Be IT literate, with a working knowledge of office, AutoCAD, Heva comp
  • Be registered as a minimum Member of CIBSE or work towards accreditation

Within this position, you’ll also be:

  • Manage multiple projects and organise themselves to meet all assigned deadlines
  • Responsible for full detailed mechanical design, should expect to complete these exercises on own or as lead of project group
  • Responsible for calculation works to prove design for domestics, ventilation, heating and cooling systems
  • Coordinate design with electrical design members and can review the overall design for completeness against project brief
  • Attend design team meetings, report back to the wider design team on progress and actions
  • Manage internal design program against client target dates to ensure timely issue of information and project financial performance
  • Assist sustainability engineers with modelling input data and criteria, this should also include the review of completed reports issued by the department for correctness

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
