We’re working with a well-established law firm with a strong reputation across the Midlands, who are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their Residential Property Department in Spalding.
The Role
As a legal secretary, you’ll provide high-quality support to the wider team, assisting with a full range of secretarial & administrative tasks. You’ll play a key role in ensuring files are managed efficiently and clients receive an excellent level of service at every stage of their matter.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of MS Office & DocuSign
- Experience using the Land Registry Portal & drafting/submitting forms
Within this position, you’ll also be:
- Drafting correspondence and documents using audiotyping and dictation
- Making amendments to documents from dictated or handwritten instructions
- Managing files from opening through to closure, including storage & retrieval
- Maintaining diaries, arranging appointments and handling incoming calls
- Using the Land Registry Portal for submitting of applications
- Conducting property searches
- Submitting SDLT applications
- Engaging with clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Providing a consistently high standard of client care
- Supporting fee earners with general administrative tasks as required
