Our client, a very reputable firm, is looking to appoint a Legal Secretary to join their growing business based in North Nottinghamshire. You will be tasked with providing secretarial support and assistance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced secretary to play a key role in assisting our client of expert legal personnel within a friendly and supportive team environment.
To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:
- Experience of working within the Legal Sector
- Experience of working as a Legal Secretary
- Knowledge of MS Office & Case Management Systems
- Strong organisational skills
- High attention to detail
Within this position, you'll also be:
- Audio & copy typing, emailing, photocopying, filing of letters, emails and documents
- Dealing with clients' calls & liaising with fee earners where needed on both the telephone & in person
- Scheduling of appointments for clients
- Answering new client enquiries & taking full details
- Ensuring all court documents are downloaded & uploaded to the internal system as required
- Ensuring the case is ready for hearings, checking the client has received all documents prior to the hearing, booking Counsel where needed, preparing court bundles & typing briefs
- Maintaining electronic filing systems
- Opening & closing of files using an internal system
- Carrying out general administration tasks
- Attending team meetings where required
Salary is £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, dependant on experience. Working Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hours' lunch.
