You’ll be joining a well-established engineering solutions business with an outstanding reputation in delivering high quality engineering solutions to a range of market sectors including aero engineering and additive manufacturing.

You’ll require the following essentials to be considered for this position:
- NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Current or recent experience in the servicing of engines or compressors
- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
- Electrical and/or pneumatic experience an advantage
- Driving Licence and confidence to tow trailers as you’ll need to travel to attend customer sites in the UK for servicing and breakdowns
- Self-motivated and independent approach to working
As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic you’ll be undertaking service and repair maintenance on dustless blasting equipment, compressors and air breathing units.
Candidates must have a solid background within the industrial mechanical sector and should possess good fault finding skills, together with an ability to work with a high degree of independence. Some experience of compressors is preferred although full training will be provided.
Although this role is largely based at the company headquarters in Melbourne, Derbyshire the successful applicant will be required to attend customer sites in the UK for servicing and breakdowns.
Within this position, you’ll also be carrying out the following duties:
- Fault finding across different machinery across the industrial mechanical sector
- Working largely in the head office servicing and repairing machinery
- Attending customer sites in the UK for servicing and breakdowns
- Assisting other members of the team with specialist projects
Salary Information & Working Hours
- 41.5 hour week plus over time as required
- Uniform provided
- Up to 20 days of annual holiday allowance (increase of 1 day per year served up to 27 days) plus 8 bank holidays
- Company closure between Christmas and New Year
- Early finish Fridays (subject to workload)
