We are working with a reputable firm based in Lichfield who are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their growing team. You will work closely with and provide support to senior solicitors across a broad range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong candidate looking to develop their career within a supportive and close-knit legal practice.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

  • Previous paralegal or relevant legal experience
  • Practical experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing
  • Strong technical legal skills, particularly in legal drafting and document review
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and client-focused approach
  • Good IT and general administrative skills

Within this position, you'll also be:

  • Assisting with residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, including commercial lettings from inception through to completion
  • Drafting, reviewing and amending legal documentation
  • Undertaking legal and document review and identifying issues requiring further consideration
  • Assisting with searches, enquiries, reports on title and other conveyancing work
  • Dealing with post completion requirements including preparation and submission of Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
  • Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties
  • Supporting solicitors with the progression and management of files
  • Completing file-opening procedures and carrying out client ID and verification checks
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records and ensuring files are kept up to date
  • Providing general administrative and organisational support to the Conveyancing Department
  • Undertaking other duties as reasonably required to support the department and the wider firm

Salary is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependant on experience. Working Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hours' lunch.
