Our client, a very reputable firm are looking to appoint a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for their Conveyancing Department based in Retford. You will be tasked with acting as an assistant and primary support to our client in managing and progressing a caseload within the firm, dealing with all matters of Conveyancing. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Experience of working within the Legal Sector Experience of working as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal Proven conveyancing experience Knowledge of MS Office & Case Management Systems Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal Strong organisational skills High attention to detail Within this position, you’ll also be: Undertaking full file creation, organising & tracking property transaction files Preparing legal documents, forms and correspondence for review Answering incoming calls, emails & post queries Liaising with clients, estate agents & third-party solicitors Undertaking basic legal or property research Organising of case material Preparing financial documents Analysing client ledgers under supervision Providing administrative support to fee earners & solicitors Opening & closing of files Updating case management systems with accurate & detailed information Carrying out ad hoc duties as required Salary & Working Hours Salary is £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, dependant on experience Working Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hours’ lunch Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
