Our client, a very reputable firm, are looking to appoint a Legal Secretary for their Family Department based in Redditch. You will be tasked with providing secretarial support and assistance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced secretary to play a key role in assisting our client of expert legal personnel within a friendly and supportive team environment.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

  • Experience of working within the Legal Sector as a Secretary
  • Experience & Knowledge of Family Law
  • Proven audiotyping experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office & Case Management Systems
  • Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High attention to detail

Within this position, you'll also be:

  • Audio & copy typing, emailing, photocopying, filing of letters, emails and documents
  • Completing forms and drafting documents
  • Running, managing & maintaining files on a case management system and following file procedures
  • Speaking to clients and professional contacts, personally and by telephone, answering queries, giving information and making appointments
  • Arranging of appointments & managing fee earners diaries
  • Attending team meetings as required
  • Covering reception as required

Salary is £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependant on experience. Working Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hours' lunch.
