We’re supporting a well-established organisation based in the Castlewood area who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their busy and well-organised distribution team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values accuracy, and wants to be part of a supportive and well-structured warehouse environment.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced dispatch warehouse, you’ll be responsible for a variety of warehouse and stock-related duties, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
- Previous experience in a despatch environment
- Has a flexible approach to working hours and workload
- Is proactive, quality-focused and reliable
- Works well within a team and contributes positively to the wider operation
- Can use computer systems and handheld scanners confidently (or is willing to learn)
- Is comfortable working in a busy, warehouse environment
Within this position, you’ll also be:
- Picking, packing and dispatching parts to customers and external teams
- Using warehouse systems, scanners and bespoke software to process orders and shipments
- Selecting appropriate carriers and preparing consignments for dispatch
- Managing stock and supporting internal service operations
- Processing returned items in line with company procedures
- Goods receipt and storing stock accurately within the warehouse
- Supporting with basic administrative tasks
Hours and Salary
- 37.5 hours per week
- 4/5 days per week on a rota - 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday
- Free onsite parking
