We are working with a fantastic legal firm based in Nottingham who are looking for a Legal Assistant/Secretary to join their successful company within their Litigation Team. You will provide excellent customer service and administration support to the business.
To be considered for the role, you ll require the following essentials:
- Excellent knowledge & experience within a litigation department or environment
- Experience of working as a Legal Assistant or Secretary
- Be confident speaking with clients either on the phone or face to face
- Strong knowledge of MS Office & case management systems
- Possess high levels of speed & accuracy
The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a legal environment and litigation. You will be an excellent communicator with a professional telephone manner. Being highly organised with fantastic attention to detail is a must for this role.
As part of the conveyancing team, you ll be:
- Liaising with clients via phone and face to face
- Updating the CRM system with relevant information
- Updating the filing system and opening & closing of files
- Archiving of files
- Postal duties including preparing parcels for dispatching
- General office duties such as filing and photocopying
- Providing an excellent customer service to the wider team, business & clients
- Emailing, photocopying, filing of letters, emails and documents
- Maintaining accurate files & case management records
- Scanning incoming mail
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings & coordinating appointments
- Supporting the smooth running of the wider team & department
- Carrying out general administration tasks as required
Salary & Working Hours
- Β£24,000 - Β£29,000 per annum, dependant on experience
- Working hours are Monday Friday, 9am 5pm
