An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and detail-driven Sales Support professional to join a busy commercial team in Chesterfield. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service within an export and international trade environment. The role of Sales Support will play a key part in supporting Export Account Managers, ensuring the smooth and compliant processing of customer orders from the UK through to delivery worldwide. To be considered for the role of Sales Support, you’ll require the following essentials: Strong background in administration, ideally within an export or logistics environment Knowledge of export processes, Incoterms, and import regulations is advantageous Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Commercially aware with a strong understanding of customer service and after-sales support Within the position of Sales Support, you’ll also be: Provide day-to-day administrative support to Export Account Managers Liaise with remote warehouses, shipping agents, and overseas contacts to ensure seamless order fulfilment Oversee the transition of goods from UK sites to overseas customers, ensuring compliance with export legislation and documentation Work with suppliers and the purchasing team to coordinate material transfers, including imports and inter-plant shipments Raise, track, and monitor export licence documentation Prepare and arrange export paperwork, packaging requirements, and shipping during busy periods or staff absences Manage full sales processes, including supplier chasing, requisition raising, and system updates Maintain agreed stock levels for customer-specific items Operate clear and compliant order entry systems and monitor them regularly Compile and prepare department KPI data Hours and Salary Monday to Friday Mon–Thu, 8am–4pm; Fri, 8am–1pm or Mon–Thu, 9am–5pm; Fri, 9am–1pm 28 days hols incl Banks £26000 – £28,000 DOE Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
