We are working with a growing technology business that is entering an exciting new phase of commercial growth following significant investment. They are now looking for an experienced Finance Director to take ownership of the finance function and help build the financial infrastructure needed to support the next stage of the business. This is a hands-on role with genuine influence, working closely with the Founder/MD, Board and investors. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Proven experience working as a FD, Head of Finance or Financial Controller Comfortable operating as the senior finance leader in a growing business Experience within technology, engineering, manufacturing, SMEs, start-ups/scale ups or investor backed environments/businesses would be advantageous Commercially minded with a hands-on approach Within this position, you’ll also be: Leading & developing the finance function Budgeting, forecasting & cash flow management Board and investor reporting Managing information & KPI reporting Strengthening financial controls & processes Developing finance systems and reporting Supporting commercial and strategic decision making Supporting future investment & growth Developing the finance team as the business scales Salary & Working Hours Salary is £75,000 - £85,000 per annum, dependant on experience 4 day working week with a hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Nottingham Office Genuine opportunity to shape a growing business Direct exposure to the Founder, Board & Investors Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
