ROLE:
The Sustainability Manager is a pro-active generalist, able to cover all major issues of sustainability with all relevant stakeholders. This role is responsible for the delivery of high priority project sustainability deliverables including BREEAM verification of data, as well as leading on carbon emissions reduction reaching Net Zero Carbon, waste reduction and circular economy.
DUTIES:
- Leading on sustainability performance reporting, improvement and verification of data.
- Supporting on BREEAM at design stage and construction stage.
- Leading on carbon emissions reduction and the wider resource efficiency agenda.
- Assisting in the development of new strategy, policy and NZC targets for the company.
- Supporting the business in the implementation and delivery of the Group Sustainability strategy, its ambitions and targets.
- Supporting sustainability input to business development.
- Carrying out research and development, identifying opportunities, encouraging innovation and improvements in transferability to increase efficiency and work-winning.
