Overview
Opportunity for an Information Manager to join a reputable Tier 1 Building Main Contractor to work on a major building project in Wrexham.
Role
- Be a key member of the site-based project team (full-time site-based role), responsible for the management and maintenance of all project-related information and documentation.
- Maintain the structure of the project common data environment (CDE), the project WIP environment and other Information Management systems where applicable (e.g. Field Management).
- Act as the main point of contact on the project for all matters in relation to the project information management process including providing training, support, and ongoing communication with all members of the project team.
- Focus on ensuring information management consistency across a live project, rigorously maintaining control and traceability of the documentation from project initiation, through to completion and hand over.
Requirements
- Understanding of BS EN ISO 19650 Parts 1 & 2 standard for information management and application during the delivery and handover phase of a built asset.
- Understanding of PAS 8672.
- Ideally experience of ASITE admin/user experience or similar EDMS.
- Previously employed as an Information Manager, Document Controller or similar.
- Familiar with various web-based document management systems.
- Familiar with CDE providers including Asite, 4Projects, BIW/Conject, Aconex etc.
- Familiar with BIM tools and software (e.g. Navisworks, Dalux, Bimcollab etc).
- IT skills (MS Office 365).
