Reputable Tier 1 building main contractor with long term work on local midlands public and private sector projects including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Blue Light and Residential. Ideal opportunity for job security, with long term local regional projects and hybrid working. Option also to base out of Birmingham or Nottingham office. Role: As Building Regulations Advisor you will play a key role to provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with business and building safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with our customers, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Effectively communicate technical solutions and recommendations in accordance with relevant building regulations.
- Facilitate the company s role as Principal Designer and demonstrate the right competencies to be an advisor to our project teams.
- Create processes and procedures to review the competency of other members of the team.
- Where appropriate, liaise with Design Managers and the wider design team.
