Leading Tier 1 Main Building Contractor
Sector: Building / Construction
Company: One of the UK's largest privately owned building main contractors, circa £1 billion turnover, working across a range of sectors including Education, Commercial, Leisure, MOJ and Multi Storey Residential. Projects predominantly in Yorkshire and North Midlands. Flexibility to travel required.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone already in an aftercare manager role or a Site Manager / Project Manager / Contracts Manager that is interested to move into a full time aftercare role.
Role:
- Deliver the soft landings process on each completing project and manage the defects process from date of practical completion through to obtaining the certificate of making good from the client's representative.
- Managing the investigation and close out of latent defects.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Building Sector.
- Previous experience / knowledge in building sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Extra Care Housing, MOJ, Industrial, Education or Healthcare.
- Previous Main Contractor employment would be ideal but not essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
