The Role - Own It. Lead It. Crush It. We are seeking a driven and experienced General Manager who will lead overall store performance by driving profitability, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service. This role oversees all key store functions - including merchandising, staffing, donation flow, and compliance - while fostering a high-performing, inclusive team aligned with Talize’s mission of sustainable and affordable fashion. The General Manager executes business strategies, develops talent, and ensures strong financial results and community engagement.

Travel or Availability Requirements: This role requires open availability, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts, with consistent reliability to support smooth operations.

Salary Rate: $72,500 / annually

What You’ll Be Doing - Every Day is Game Day

  • Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including customer service, retail floor execution, donation intake, and merchandise flow. Ensure the store meets sales goals, maintains strong merchandising standards, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness from open to close.
  • Financial Management: Drive financial results by managing sales performance, labor usage, and expense control. Track key metrics and make operational adjustments to support profitability and efficiency.
  • People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the AGM and store team to uphold company values, policies, and performance expectations. Manage recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for all store employees. Foster a positive, inclusive culture through communication, recognition, and team engagement.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with operational policies, HR standards, and health and safety regulations. Address hazards, incidents, and theft concerns in alignment with company protocols. Maintain consistent adherence to company procedures across all store functions.

  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, metric analysis, and cost control.
