A 12 month full-time contract with hybrid working. The position requires a person with previous retail H/O merchandising experience. Strong planning, data management, and well-developed analytical skills are essential, ideally with a background within branded fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Working with branded fashion, you will report to a Merchandise Manager and help to manage the distribution of stock.
- Manage monthly forecasts and support the drive of sales.
- Work with the Merchandise Assistants to control inventory, allocation, and replenishment.
- Each week provide a summary on sales performance, stock, profit, and markdowns.
- Support the buying team with analysis and with the creation of OTB.
- Work closely with the retail area managers and the buying team.
- Raise purchase orders and work with vendors for stock and delivery.
Requirements:
- A background within H/O retail merchandising is required either as a Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser, or as a Commercial Planner/Analyst, or as a Stock Supply Chain Manager.
- Ideally, your experience will have included working with branded clothing.
- You will need good planning, analytical, and IT skills and will be someone who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible person who enjoys collaborating with others, making decisions, and taking initiative.
