Bank Care Assistant (Nights) – Residential Care Home for Older People

As a small residential home with just 18 residents, we are able to provide truly person-centred care and build meaningful relationships with the people who live here. We believe every member of our team plays an important part in enhancing our residents' wellbeing and quality of life.
Taliesin is conveniently located in the heart of Tonypandy, close to the high street, river and train station, making it easily accessible for staff and visitors.
About the Role
We are looking for kind, reliable and compassionate Bank Care Assistants (Nights) to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for older people and wants to make a positive difference to their lives.
Working as part of our night care team, you'll help ensure residents feel comfortable, safe and supported throughout the night, providing personal care, reassurance and companionship according to their individual needs.
We recognise that good care is about much more than completing practical tasks. It's about taking the time to get to know residents, understanding their life stories, respecting their individual preferences and helping them feel valued and at home.
This is a bank position on a zero-hours contract, offering flexibility around your availability and the needs of the home. The role may lead to permanent contract opportunities in the future.
All night shifts are waking nights, from 10:00pm to 7:00am.
