Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify potential issues and resolve them before they escalate.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions promptly.
- Respond to maintenance requests, emergencies, and equipment failures, minimising disruption.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and preventive tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and departments on facility improvement projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assist in procurement of materials needed for maintenance activities.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in an industrial or facility setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
