We are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer with strong experience in cloud networking and distributed systems to join our client’s on-site team in London. This role focuses on designing and managing secure, high-performance network architectures across cloud environments.
- Design and implement cloud network architectures across multi-region environments
- Manage VPCs, subnets, routing, and load balancing configurations
- Ensure network security, segmentation, and access control
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to optimise infrastructure
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with cloud networking in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and load balancing
- Experience with firewalls, security groups, and network policies
- Knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability design
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud architectures
- Knowledge of zero-trust networking principles
