Are you a Business Analyst with Life & Pensions expertise, looking to take on varied, impactful work across transformation and regulatory change initiatives? We’re working with a Midlands-based digital transformation consultancy that supports major organisations in the financial services sector, with a particular focus on Life & Pensions.
As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how projects are defined and delivered - acting as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, and ensuring solutions are aligned to real operational needs.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, producing clear process flows, specifications, and user stories.
- Apply your Life & Pensions knowledge to guide solution design, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout delivery.
- Support data migration projects, including defining migration approaches, contributing to data mapping, and validating data integrity across phases.
- Assist with auto-enrolment implementations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Architects, Developers, and Testers to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentum.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions through effective communication and structured documentation.
About You
Essential:
- Strong understanding of pension products, regulatory frameworks, and operational processes.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for analysis and documentation.
- Experience using collaboration tools such as Confluence or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with auto-enrolment implementations.
- Background in Life & Pensions.
- Understanding of data models and data validation activities.
- Professional certifications (BCS, IIBA, or similar).
- Exposure to system integration projects within financial services.
