Are you a Business Analyst with Life & Pensions expertise, looking to take on varied, impactful work across transformation and regulatory change initiatives?

We’re working with a Midlands-based digital transformation consultancy that supports major organisations in the financial services sector, with a particular focus on Life & Pensions.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how projects are defined and delivered – acting as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, and ensuring solutions are aligned to real operational needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, producing clear process flows, specifications, and user stories
  • Apply your Life & Pensions knowledge to guide solution design, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout delivery
  • Support data migration projects, including defining migration approaches, contributing to data mapping, and validating data integrity across phases
  • Assist with auto-enrolment implementations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Architects, Developers, and Testers to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentum
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions through effective communication and structured documentation

About You

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of pension products, regulatory frameworks, and operational processes
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for analysis and documentation
  • Experience using collaboration tools such as Confluence or Azure DevOps
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with auto-enrolment implementations
  • Background in Life & Pensions
  • Understanding of data models and data validation activities
  • Professional certifications (BCS, IIBA, or similar)
  • Exposure to system integration projects within financial services

This is an opportunity to join a consultancy known for its delivery excellence and industry expertise, where you’ll work on diverse transformation initiatives, develop your skill set, and help shape the future of digital change across the Life & Pensions sector.
