This is an opportunity to join a growing audit team within an established independent accountancy practice. The work covers a range of businesses, giving you the chance to develop your technical knowledge, get closer to clients and build on your experience, with the level of responsibility tailored to where you are in your career.
The role
- Work on external audit assignments across a varied client base
- Get involved in different stages of the audit process, from planning through to completion
- Develop your understanding of statutory accounts and more complex audit work
- Work alongside experienced colleagues and learn from Managers and Directors
- Build confidence dealing with clients and handling queries
- Take on greater responsibility as your skills develop, including supporting and reviewing junior colleagues at more senior levels
- Gain exposure to accounts, tax and wider advisory work alongside audit
What they're looking for
The firm is open to speaking with people at different stages of their audit career, from those looking to build their initial experience through to experienced Audit Seniors and Assistant Managers.
Previous accountancy practice experience and an interest in external audit are important. ACA or ACCA study, part-qualified or qualified status will depend on your level, alongside a willingness to learn and take the next step.
