Salary: Β£25,000 per annum

What you'll be doing:
The role will involve:
- Supporting fee earners in the Public Family Law/Care team
- Liaising with clients in person, by telephone and by email
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents relating to family care matters including briefs, court documents, attendance notes and statements of evidence
- Attending to clients at court with counsel
- Diary management and appointment making
- Providing general administrative support
Who we re looking for:
Suitable candidates will have:
- A law degree (ideally incorporating family/care-related electives)
- Experience of working in a Family Care department of a law firm, handling legal aid matters (preferred but not essential)
- A positive approach to client care
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- The ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner
- A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle

This is a full-time permanent job, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will be office-based. A wealth of on-the-job training will be provided, with more formal training/qualification routes supported after 12-18 months employment.
