About the firm
This Lexcel and CQS accredited firm was established almost 40 years ago by the merging of two local, well-established practices, whose roots go back over 100 years. Situated in purpose-built offices in Leamington Spa, with free onsite parking, the firm offers a fabulous, modern working environment, as well as accommodating hybrid working.
The Litigation team is made up of four highly experienced lawyers as well as support staff and is led by a Partner who specialises in all areas of dispute resolution.
What will you be doing:
- Managing a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters including debt recovery and enforcement proceedings, contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, boundary disputes, contested probate disputes, alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiation and company and partnership disputes
- Liaising with clients, providing advice and keeping them fully updated
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
- Representing clients in court and settlement negotiations
Who are we looking for:
- Suitable candidates are likely to have fully qualified status - solicitor, or CLE with 3 years+ PQE
- Experience of managing a dispute resolution caseload from start to finish
- An up to date understanding of the litigation process relating to the above matters
- The ability to work autonomously, with minimum supervision

This is a full time permanent job, working 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Friday. Hybrid working will be accommodated.
Note: A highly competitive salary is offered which will be fully commensurate with experience.
