What you'll be doing: The role will initially involve running a wide ranging privately funded family law caseload including children matters, with a view to establishing and growing a Childcare Department once a Legal Aid contract has been awarded.
- Running your own caseload of family law matters from start to finish including divorce and separation, finance and property, children arrangements, pre-nuptial agreements, domestic violence and cohabitation matters
- Conducting own advocacy
- Working as part of a well-established, experienced family law team with an excellent client following and reputation
- Establishing, building and growing the Department to encompass legal aid work in the longer term
Who we're looking for: Suitable candidates are likely to have:
- Law Society's Children Law Accreditation
- Experience of running both private and public family law matters
- Fully qualified solicitor status or CLE status with practice rights
- Mediation experience preferred
- Excellent client care skills
