What you’ll be doing:
- The role will initially involve running a wide-ranging privately funded family law caseload including children matters, with a view to establishing and growing a Childcare Department once a Legal Aid contract has been awarded.
- Running your own caseload of family law matters from start to finish including divorce and separation, finance and property, children arrangements, pre-nuptial agreements, domestic violence and cohabitation matters.
- Conducting own advocacy.
- Working as part of a well-established, experienced family law team with an excellent client following and reputation.
- Establishing, building and growing the Department to encompass legal aid work in the longer term.
Who we’re looking for:
- Law Society's Children Law Accreditation.
- Experience of running both private and public family law matters.
- Fully qualified solicitor status or CLE status with practice rights.
- Mediation experience preferred.
- Excellent client care skills.
