I’m looking for a PA (or possibly a couple of PAs) to support my 7-year-old son. We are based in Ashford, Kent, and receive funding for 12 hours per week, which would mainly be used during evenings and weekends. During school holidays and half-terms, the hours would likely be more weekday-based. We’re very flexible and happy to work around the right person’s availability.

He is a lovely, bright, and inquisitive little boy. He loves being outdoors, whether that’s visiting parks, exploring the woods, or looking for animals and wildlife. He’s also a big fan of cars, playing with toys, role play, and simply spending time with people. He has a real thirst for knowledge and is constantly asking questions and wanting to learn more about the world around him.

He also has an older stepbrother and stepsister, who he loves spending time with. He’s very family-oriented and enjoys social interaction, shared activities, and building positive relationships with the people around him.

We’re looking for someone kind, reliable, patient, and enthusiastic who can support him to enjoy activities in the community, have fun, and continue building his confidence and independence.

  • Own car with business insurance, as the role will involve taking him out and about.
  • DBS clearance, which will be paid for. Due to recent changes to the scheme, a new DBS check may be required even if you already have one.

Any agreed expenses and activity costs will be reimbursed or paid upfront. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, or if you’d like to know more about the role, please feel free to get in touch. I’d be very happy to answer any questions.

Hourly rate of pay: £12.71
