Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (with some after-hours flexibility required)

The Role: As a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal plant performance and the efficient use of engineering resources. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Preparing and scheduling both preventive and reactive work orders.
  • Analysing feedback and reports to refine our maintenance strategies.
  • Participating in hands-on maintenance tasks when necessary.
  • Managing engineering contractors and overseeing statutory compliance activities.
  • Planning for plant shutdowns, ensuring alignment with production needs.

You Will Bring:

  • An engineering/manufacturing qualification or relevant apprenticeship.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a heavy production or industrial setting.
  • Expertise in IT maintenance systems and CMMS.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools like MS Project.
  • Strong maintenance management skills, including preventive and reliability-centred maintenance.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations (LOLER, PUWER, etc.).
  • Experience in managing people, projects, and contractors, along with cost control and budget planning.
