We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join an established team, in a role that combines managing service user contracts with supporting finance tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organised, keeping things running smoothly, and working in a collaborative environment.
About the Role
In this varied position, you’ll take the lead on preparing and managing contracts while also assisting with some day-to-day financial administration. From keeping records up to date to helping coordinate service user referrals, you’ll play a key part in supporting operations and making sure everything stays accurate and compliant. You’ll also be a helpful and approachable point of contact for colleagues, external agencies, and other partners – so strong communication skills are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing, updating, and managing service user contracts.
- Ensuring contractual records are accurate and well-organised.
- Supporting the finance team with tasks such as maintaining financial records and assisting with purchase/sales ledgers.
- Helping ensure compliance with contractual and financial processes.
- Managing the BBB tracker database and coordinating incoming referrals.
- Taking on general administrative tasks to support the wider team.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a contracts administration role, ideally with some financial responsibilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of financial processes and administration.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other admin/finance systems.
- A positive, proactive approach and great communication skills.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience using Sage software.
- Knowledge of local authority funding processes.
- An AAT qualification or working towards one.
