CNC & Laser Cutting Systems - M62 Corridor

£35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Company Car or Allowance + £10k OTE year 1 (uncapped) + Benefits

The Role of the Sales Engineer:

  • A territory-based sales role.
  • Carrying out account management & new business.
  • Selling a range of specialist fibre laser cutting systems and automated materials handling into the sheet metal industry.
  • Equipment values ranging from £200k - £1.3m typically, with average orders of £550k.
  • Responsible for full sales cycle.
  • Sales cycles ranging from 1 month up to 2 years.

The Candidate for the Sales Engineer:

  • Knowledge of sheet metal machinery such as CNCs, Laser Cutters, Presses, etc. This can be through previous sales experience or service engineering experience.
  • Commercial awareness and able to have specialised conversations with clients.
  • Able to manage a territory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full UK drivers' licence and able to work in the UK without sponsorship.

The Package for the Sales Engineer:

  • £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
  • £10k OTE 1st year (uncapped) (0.5% turnover up to £2m, 1% over).
  • Company car or car allowance.
  • Pension, laptop, mobile, training.
  • 25 days holiday plus stats.
