Our client is looking for 2x Technical Trainers to join their expanding team in the Midlands and Warwickshire. Great training opportunities and a chance to deliver technical training in your own style.

Your Role as a Technical Trainer

  • Based predominantly from the Coventry office daily, you’ll be the chosen product specialist on a brand of coffee and drinks machines.
  • Delivering ongoing support to the wider engineering team, as well as new starters, this is a very hands-on role where you can put in your own personality.
  • Alongside training, you’ll be developing course content, SOPs and staying abreast of new systems being released.
  • Developing support videos of equipment strip-downs and builds, highlighting key areas.
  • Liaising with the wider team internally to pass on methods of best practice.
  • Occasional travel out in the field (expensed). Monday - Friday, daytime hours.

Ideal Background for the Technical Trainer Position

  • You really need some existing technical training experience on electromechanical systems.
  • Or you’ll be teaching in another capacity but enjoy being hands-on and have a genuine interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Failing that, you may be a coffee service engineer looking to use your experience in a new capacity.
  • Confident and concise presenting to people of different abilities; in person and via video.
  • A good sense of humour.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • A love for coffee is advised but not essential here!
  • Full UK drivers licence and right to work in the UK indefinitely as no sponsorship will be provided.
  • Able and willing to commute daily to the Coventry site.
