Here, you'll be working for a manufacturer of equipment often found in the labs of manufacturers, universities and heavy industry.
They're seeking a field service engineer to join an existing team.
Your Role as a Field Service Engineer
Conducting ppm, service, and breakdown repairs to equipment found in materials testing and preparation labs.
Being hands-on with mechanical and electrical equipment, along with some electronic fault-finding.
Visiting some desirable manufacturing and research facilities.
You'll be accessing some equipment remotely too to carry out diagnostics.
A Monday - Friday role, 37.5 hours per week; an average of 1 night per week away from home.
Ideal Background for the Field Service Engineer Position
You'll have a good engineering understanding from a mechanical and electrical perspective. This role would also suit an engineer from the armed forces.
The service manager is ex-forces too.
Existing field service experience is advantageous.
Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Right to work in the UK as no sponsorship provided.
