The Role of Trainee Workshop Technician:
- Workshop based in Kenilworth, (90% of the time), with occasional site visits (10%).
- Carrying out repairs, services and calibrations to pneumatic and electrical tooling equipment.
- Utilising electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
- Receiving training on cutting edge machinery and systems.
- Supporting an established existing team of service and workshop engineers.
- A Mon - Fri role working 40 hours per week before overtime; 8am - 5:30pm.
Ideal Background for the Trainee Workshop Technician:
- A strong mechanical understanding with a related engineering qualification (NVQ, BTec, City & Guilds, etc.)
- Seeking training and a long-term career.
- Familiarity with tooling and pneumatics is beneficial.
- Engineers from the Armed Forces are also advised to apply.
- Good communication and IT skills.
- Willing / able to commute to Kenilworth daily.
- You'll need a full driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
The Package for the Trainee Workshop Technician:
