Workshop Engineer - Floor-Care Systems

Location: Gloucestershire (Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Evesham)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary + Uncapped Overtime + Benefits

Contract: Fixed Term 12 Month - Potential to go permanent

Our client is on the search for an energetic and driven technician or engineer with some electrical fault-finding experience looking for a site-based role.

Your Role as a Workshop Engineer:

  • Workshop based in Tewkesbury.
  • Joining an existing, established team.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and in-depth repairs on systems returned from the field.
  • Fault finding on electrical and battery-operated floor cleaning machinery.
  • Product training provided but you need a multiskilled understanding.
  • Typically working 08:00 - 16:30 Mon - Thu, 08:00 - 15:30 Fri.

Ideal Background for the Workshop Engineer Position:

  • Able to fault find using a multimeter.
  • Electrical bias with a mechanical appreciation.
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to learn and train.
  • Physically fit and able as role involves manual handling of large pieces of kit.
  • A team player.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK as no sponsorship is provided.
  • Able and willing to commute daily to Tewkesbury.
