Location: Huntingdon, England. Commutable from: Huntingdon, Corby, Wellingborough, Northampton, Bedford.

  • Salary: £75,000 - £100,000 Basic Salary + Company Car + Bonus up to 30% + Benefits
  • Lead the operations of multiple teams with a focus on on-time delivery across two complementary divisions.
  • Drive strategic leadership and operational excellence within a wood design & manufacturing context.

This is a unique opportunity to lead operations across two divisions of a successful, privately owned wood design & manufacturing business.

Your role

  • Senior leadership role reporting to the Managing Director, managing a team of 7 direct reports and ~55 people across the wider operational function.
  • Full ownership of the project delivery lifecycle, including project management, design, fabrication, logistics, procurement, and installation.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across both divisions, plus facilities management of the head office and production site.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for Health & Safety across all workshops, installations and project environments, including CDM compliance.
  • Drive operational efficiency and margin improvement through better systems, KPI tracking and cost control.
  • Regular UK travel to project and event sites, with occasional international travel for global client projects.
  • Ideal background
  • Senior operational leadership experience, ideally within a multidisciplinary manufacturing and design environment.
  • Experience with commercial fitouts, temporary structures, or specialist one-off builds is of interest.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and margins.
  • Experience with software/systems scoping and implementation.
  • Full UK driver’s licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Valid passport for international travel.
