The Company: Our client is expanding and on the lookout for an internal Account Manager / Business Development Manager from a technical setting. They have over 35 years of building strong customer relationships. Known for excellence and a prestigious client base. Receive top-notch training and support in a dynamic environment. Work with renowned companies in the F1, Automotive, Aerospace, and Electronics sectors, amongst others.
Your Role: Office based in Northampton. Focusing on 'Supply-Only' customers. Managing an existing portfolio of existing accounts and providing exceptional service. Examples include OEM's, End-Users, and Distributors. Increase the account spend of customers where possible. Find and pursue new business opportunities. Have technical conversations with both technical and non-technical people. Liaise with the existing service, marketing, and projects team where needed. Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 15:00, 40 hours per week.
Ideal Background: Existing experience with internal technical sales, either in Account Management or Business Development. Have worked in a targeted, sales role previously. Able to pick up technical products. Happy to commute to the Northampton site daily. You must have right to work in the UK as sponsorship will not be provided.
The Package: £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary, depending on experience. Company performance related bonus. Private health care. Pension. Longer term career path and progression. 23 days holiday plus stats (increasing with time served).
