The Role of Field Service Engineer:

  • Covering a territory 50% service and PPM, 50% reactive breakdowns
  • Working on diesel & hybrid powered machinery with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Getting large vehicles and ancillary equipment up and running
  • Conduct test drives to ensure issues are resolved
  • Customer base includes councils, local authorities, airports, and military sites.
  • A Mon - Fri position, working 40 hours per week.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Familiar with diesel powered systems.
  • Confident completing diagnostics via laptop
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to learn and train.
  • Ideally hold a HGV licence (not essential)
  • A team player
  • Previous successful hires have come from an engineering background in the armed forces, FLT or mobile plant engineers.
  • You will hold a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship

The Package for the Field Service Engineer:

  • £36,000 basic salary
  • Overtime at 1.5x, uncapped
  • Payrise after 6 months' probation
  • Company van with private use
  • Pension, specialist tools, training, laptop, mobile, healthcare
  • 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
