Your Role as an Area Sales Manager: You\’ll be responsible for growing and developing the customer base. 50% of the role will be dealing with welding specialists, automotive repair, and bodyshops (end-user), whilst the other 50% will be the wider motor industry (distribution). The role is a nice blend of new business and account management. Typical order values range from £5k – £20k with sales cycles lasting from weeks to 12+ months. Utilising your existing welding experience to advise on best products and limitations.Ideal Background for the Area Sales Manager Position: Above all, you\’ll have some welding experience and some proven B2B sales. You\’ll be confident and enjoy the thrill of a sales environment, with a new business focus. Able to build credibility and be a subject matter expert on welding in time.
