Technical Assistant (AC/TA)

As a Technical Assistant, you’ll serve as a crucial link between our sales team and the manufacturing floor. Your role will involve interpreting customer orders, producing technical information, and ensuring everything is set for seamless production. You’ll need to read and interpret technical drawings and possess a typing speed of up to 40 wpm to efficiently manage and input orders into our internal system. Your ability to plan effectively and optimise material usage will help minimise waste and improve overall productivity.

• Experience in CAD programming and the ability to interpret technical drawings are essential.

• Previous experience with sheet board optimisation software is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of general engineering and manufacturing processes.

• A solid administrative background with impeccable attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Salary between £29,000 – £31,000 DOE.
