Financial Inclusion Officer (NHA/FIC)

We are currently looking for a Financial Inclusion Officer to join our dynamic team in the picturesque Tongwynlais, Cardiff!

As a Financial Inclusion Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our Housing Team, providing invaluable support to our tenants with budgeting, income maximisation, and welfare benefits. You’ll assist with universal credit applications and housing benefit claims while raising awareness on welfare reform changes. Your community engagement will include home visits, participation in local events, and representing Newydd at external meetings and forums.

• Relevant experience in the financial inclusion, welfare benefits or money advice sector.

• Strong understanding of welfare reform, housing benefits, and budgeting practices.

• Familiarity with delivering financial inclusion initiatives.

• Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft applications.

• A customer-centric attitude, showcasing teamwork and problem-solving capabilities.
