We are currently looking for a Director of Marketing and Admissions (DMA) to join our dynamic team at Manchester Metropolitan University International College in Manchester. As the Director of Marketing and Admissions (DMA), you will play a pivotal role within the leadership team, guiding the strategic direction and growth of our marketing, recruitment, and admissions functions.

You will be responsible for fostering key business relationships both domestically and internationally, creatively implementing recruitment strategies to meet ambitious targets while ensuring alignment between our college, the university, and Navitas. This role is not just about leading teams; it is about inspiring excellence and driving results in a rapidly growing educational environment.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Strategic and Tactical Planning: Develop and refine the value proposition of MMUIC, aligned with the University value proposition, strategically different from competitor offerings. Together with the College Director Principal and Executive General Manager, engage in the 5 year strategic planning process for MMUIC to drive growth aspirations of the partnership. Utilising data and insights from University, Navitas divisional and global teams, engage with key stakeholders to create Go To Market plans in advance of each recruitment cycle. These plans will set realistic targets, conversion rates, tactics and activity plans based on current market context to drive growth in line with the College's 5-year plan.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and clear direction to the College marketing, recruitment and admissions team, driving accountability, and a proactive approach. Foster and support an inclusive work culture that prioritises the well-being of team members. Nurture team member growth and skill enhancement to achieve personal and organisational goals. Collaborate with the College/Campus Director to ensure effective overall management of Manchester Metropolitan International College (MMUIC).
  • Marketing: Build and maintain strong relationships with Manchester Metropolitan University colleagues, colleagues across Navitas division and global team, key channel partners to support business growth. Create inspiring and engaging promotional materials and events, digital and face to face, to increase brand awareness. Analyse campaign effectiveness and sales performance, leveraging data to optimise marketing, digital and recruitment strategies and ROI. Co-ordinate marketing and sales efforts across teams and regions to ensure efficient use of resources and consistent messaging. Develop public relations and marketing communication content in line with Navitas Marketing guidelines. Access available market data to identify new product opportunities that align with MMUIC's evolving value proposition. Ensure compliance with the regulatory framework in which marketing, student recruitment and admissions operates. Represent the college in key onshore and offshore market activities and contribute to key markets efforts when required. Collaborate with Navitas group marketing and other Navitas Marketing and Admissions Directors to share best practices and align strategy.
