Are you an experienced Marketing Events Manager within the Luxury industry? If you have this experience, you might want to delve a bit deeper into this opportunity. Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.
The role, working for one of the most recognisable luxury brands in the world, is looking to expand their UK team with this newly created role (commencing on an initial six-month contract) to support the Head of Marketing across a number of events as part of their ongoing marketing endeavours.
As part of this, you’ll have a high level of autonomy, supporting and executing UK events as part of the Global Events strategy. Given the current workload of the small existing team, there is nothing you can’t get involved in. The team is led by an EMEA lead who we’ve had a number of conversations with around the role, and we’re blown away by the openness and scale of the opportunity. Your direct line manager in London is equally open and supportive about the scale of the involvement.
Whilst a globally recognised brand, the UK team is disproportionately small, which in turn creates larger opportunities for growth, development, and overall satisfaction.
We can’t consider any application for this role if you do not have existing Events exposure within a brand-based environment. Having had the level of discussions we’ve had with this Client ahead of this role going live, we are in full agreement with this decision in this instance. The nuances and level of expectation by the brand will mean you have to call upon this very experience straight out of the blocks. This role or team does not have the manpower to bring someone up to speed or to teach someone what is expected, especially when you consider that this role is for an initial six-month experience.
Salary is to be discussed at the interview stage (with TalentSmiths), but as a guide £65,000-£70,000 pro-rata (for an initial six-month contract). This will be confirmed before any client-facing interview.
