The Director, Total Rewards is responsible for designing, implementing and managing comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions. This role will ensure legal compliance, cost effectiveness and that total rewards programs support the most critical business initiatives.
This role will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization and manage various benefit vendors. This role will lead all areas of rewards programs including health & welfare benefits, compensation, wellness and retirement for regions.
Key Responsibilities- Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives: Implement total rewards strategies that align with organizational goals and support business objectives.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment of total rewards programs. Provide support to local HR when implementing global rewards strategy and programs. The support may include involvement in negotiations with (Central) Works Council, Unions, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Tax and Social Security authorities.
- Change Management: Direct change management efforts related to total rewards initiatives, fostering innovation, and driving continuous improvement.
- Communication: Manage communication strategy for specific programs and develop employee education programs to ensure employees understand total rewards, their value, and available resources.
- Project Management: Manage various total rewards projects, including design, implementation, and administration.
- Extensive Total Rewards Experience: Typically, over a decade of experience in Total Rewards, with a proven track record of successfully implementing Total Rewards strategies at a senior level.
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a senior role in Total Rewards, demonstrating operational and strategic skills.
- Project Management Experience: Demonstrated project management skills and a track record of success in bringing complex, cross-functional projects to successful completion.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or Law (preferred)
